Meet our founder

Best Buyers Agent Boondall

Andrew Pizzino

Founding Director & Buyer’s Advocate

I became a buyer’s agent after a very poor first experience buying my own home — navigating one of the biggest financial decisions of my life without reliable advice or true representation. That moment exposed how easily buyers are left unprotected in an industry designed to serve the sellers’ interests, not the buyers.

Through my experience in custom new-home design and sales — particularly knock-down rebuild projects — I’ve developed a strong understanding of how the industry works, how deals are structured and where true leverage lies.

gyda – Buyer’s Agency was built to give you what I didn’t have: clarity, advocacy, and someone genuinely on their side — from first conversation through to settlement.

Cairns Buyers Agent

Joseph Dempsey

Buyer’s Agent | Cairns

I’ve always believed the best property advice comes from lived experience — not theory.

Before working with buyers, I’d spent years on the ground building houses, subdividing land and buying multiple properties of my own.

That hands-on experience underpins the way I work with clients at gyda – Buyer’s Agency. I look past the surface of a property to understand its true potential. Whether it’s a home purchase or a strategic value-add play, I prioritise clear thinking, strong fundamentals, and confident decision-making.

My approach is calm, methodical, and buyer-first. I’m not here to push deals or overcomplicate the process — I’m here to protect your interests, cut through the noise and help you understand why a property stacks up before you commit.

I’m proud to be part of a team that operates this way — and to bring real-world property experience to every client I work with.
